Malta Youth Film Festival saw its third edition in June this year. Organised by Aġenzija Żgħażagħ and Malta Film Foundation, this event is dedicated to young filmmakers, age 16 – 30. MYFF gives a great opportunity to show the young generation of Maltese filmmakers. The winners chosen by representatives of the film industry beside receiving a financial award is also given the possibility to attend the international workshop during the Nordic Youth Film Festival in Tromso / Norway. 

 

Jeremy Vella’s film “Orrajt” won 4 awards in total: Best Storytelling, Best Acting, Audience Engagement and Best Picture.
